Currently in My Book Bag

  • 102 Minutes: The Unforgettable Story of the Fight to Survive Inside the Twin Towers by Jim Dwyer and Kevin Flynn.  I was at the 9-11 memorial and museum last week.  Everyone should see and experience it.
  • Wynne's War by Eamon Dolan.  Look to this being made into a movie.  Watch John Ford's Searchers after you read it.
  • Beautiful Game Theory: How Soccer Can Help Economics by Ignacio Palacios-Huerta.  With the World Cup and Tour de France on at the same time - - huge month for the off-sports crowd.
  • On the Run: Fugitive Live in an American City by Alice Goffman.
  • The Last Kingdon by Bernard Cornwell  The English killing Vikings and the Vikings killing the English - - potential for the post-Game of Thrones world.  BBC has it in production.
  • The New Arabs: How the Millennial Generation is Changing the Middle East by Juan Cole.
  • Zambezi: The First Solo Journey Along Africa's Mighty River by Mike Boon.  I will be floating the Zambezi May 2015.
  • Neil Armstrong: A Life of Flight by Jay Barbree.
